from end to end of the board and connecting to your side of the board.  You should also do the same inspections for your queen, bishops and rooks. With the Knights
you should inspect all of its 8 squares attacks around it and connecting squares when it moves.  As to the rooks you have to inspect the horizontals and verticals end to end forming a big T or L or a Big +.  All of these would help you see more Discovered attacks, Discovered checks, Pins, Forks, and even mates.
